The picture above shows Jerusalem in the 1930s. In the picture, the Temple Mount is easy to identify, but the City of David (ancient Jerusalem) can’t be seen. It’s completely covered over with dirt. The truth about Yahweh’s holy city was hidden for almost 2000 years, but it’s being revealed right now.
The second picture is a duplicate of the picture at the top. It shows where Yahweh’s Temple was located circled in yellow and where the City of David is located circled in red. The City of David is still there. Yahweh’s Temple was destroyed completely, but excavation can identify its precise location. When Yahweh’s people put their faith to work, His Temple can be rebuilt.
______
The Location of Yahweh’s Temple is Important
Yahweh appeared to King David and King Solomon in the area circled in yellow:
- That’s where Yahweh told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac.
- That’s where Jacob had a dream and later where Jacob built a pillar to Yahweh and called it Beit El (Bethel or House of Elohim).
- That’s where Solomon built Yahweh’s Temple.
This is what Yahweh told King Solomon:
“I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice. If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, and My people who are called by My Name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place. For now I have chosen and consecrated this house that My Name may be there forever, and My eyes and My heart will be there forever.” (2 Chronicles 7: 12-16)
Don’t underestimate the importance of the location of Yahweh’s Temple. It’s not an important location because I say it is. It’s an important location because Yahweh says it is.
The following SnyderTalk editorial proves that Yahweh’s Temple was not on the Temple Mount. It was in the City of David in the area called “the Ophel”. The editorial includes pictures and videos that will inform and inspire you. Click on the title to read the editorial:
Also, see the SnyderTalk editorials below. At first blush, they may appear to be unrelated, but they provide interesting details about the Tyropoeon Valley, Mount Scopus, and other things that will interest you:

As Yahweh’s return approaches, many seemingly unrelated events are converging and revealing an unmistakable pattern. Big things that are related, some only tangentially, are taking place right now in plain sight. That’s the point.
“I am Yahweh. I have called You in righteousness. I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You, and I will appoint You as a covenant to the people, as a light to the nations, to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the dungeon and those who dwell in darkness from the prison. I am Yahweh, that is My Name. I will not give My glory to another, nor My praise to graven images. Behold, the former things have come to pass, now I declare new things. Before they spring forth, I proclaim them to you.” (Isaiah 42: 6-9)
______
Yahweh’s Temple was Not on the Temple Mount
I started working on the location of Yahweh’s Temple several years ago. As I was planning my trip to Israel in the summer of 2019, I delved into it more deeply and wrote a couple of SnyderTalk editorials about it. You can read those editorials below.
- Where was Yahweh’s Temple located?
- Anyone Who Thinks Yahweh’s Temple was Not on the Temple Mount will have to Address these Issues
You can tell by what I wrote in those editorials that I was skeptical about the notion that Yahweh’s Temple was located anyplace besides the top of the Temple Mount. Jewish tradition is so certain about it that I didn’t want to waste my time exploring it further, but Yahweh wouldn’t let me stop seeking answers.
When I returned from Israel in August 2019, I thought about all the things I had learned and laid out my conclusions in “Yahweh’s Temple was not on the Temple Mount”.
I began that editorial by saying that I have not reached the end of my journey. In fact, I’m just getting starting, but I already have enough evidence to conclude that Yahweh’s Temple was not on the Temple Mount.
I don’t know exactly where my journey will take me, but I’ve learned over the years that Yahweh doesn’t show me the end of my journey at the starting point. It’s a walk of faith. Yahweh leads. I follow. When I reach the end, I will know.
I experienced the same sort of thing while I was writing His Name is Yahweh and The Trilogy. At the beginning of each project, all I knew was the direction. I didn’t have a firm grip on the destination until I reached the end.
I saved drafts of His Name is Yahweh as I was writing it, and there were lots of drafts. While I wrote the book, Yahweh exposed me to more material than I could have imagined so that I would be familiar with things that I would need to know later. Most of that material did not make it into the final manuscript because it was somewhat extraneous to the book itself, but it was not unimportant information. I have not published that material yet even though it’s written. It won’t surprise me if Yahweh draws me back to that material as I go forward.
I expect many things to happen very quickly now. Yahweh is on the move. He’s always active, but I think He is determined to do things in the very near future that will resemble the Exodus, big things that will get people’s attention. It’s Yahweh’s plan and His timing. I am thankful that I have a part to play in Yahweh’s plan.
Below are 2 videos. The first one is beautiful music that glories Yahweh. The second one is a video of the Temple Mount. I hope you will take the time to watch it. At the end of the video, there is something that you will want to see. It shows a common problem that Jewish people experience every time they visit the Temple Mount if they can be identified as being Jewish.
The day will come when most people will understand that Yahweh’s Temple was not on the Temple Mount. Don’t minimize the importance of Yahweh’s Temple. In due course, everyone will understand why.
